How does this NZXT LED controller work exactly?

As far as I can see it does not come with the LED strip, and I cannot find anywhere to buy the LED strip from. Is it only for cases which have NZXT Hue lighting already? Like the new Phantom?

Not 100% sure, but it does say 'Internal LED sleeves that vibrantly illuminates and accents your chassis based on your liking' so it does sound like it comes with lighting.

Can see a few unhappy customers if it didn't.

It seems very cheap, I would have thought that if it included the strip, it would include more info. Like length for example.
