Okay, I've graduated (yes I keep repeating myself, I'm still chuffed :D), so I want to splash out on a meal to make tonight.

Got around £10 but I'm not too bothered if I go over.

I'm off to Aldi in 10 mins, what should I buy and cook?!

Genuinely wish I had thought of that. I've got sausages and eggs, but thats not enough. :p

This is what I've gone for:

Instead of rice I've got some chilli tortillas. Haven't got marjoram but I'm sure I won't miss it (not a clue what it tastes like :D).

Also got a dip to use with it. :)

Bonus is that it uses up my 675g of steak mince. I'm assuming steak mince is the same as minced beef?

Will post pictures depending on how it goes!

Well I've treated myself better this morning. Gently warmed soft seeded rolls, with 12 finest chipolatas and 4 eggs.

Followed by a mug of milk coffee and a stroll in this absolutely glorious weather!

I don't know how over a kg or so of stuff just fitted inside me. :D

Was ****ing tasty.

I chopped up an onion, put a put of honey on it and fried them. Gave a very pleasant taste.

Jesus. I never thought I'd look at a picture like that and be wanting the bread most of all. The ommest of noms.

Simpler the better for chilli imo.

You could do something mega elaborate for a tenner. Use cheaper but bloody tasty cuts, like a pork belly (even though it's risen in price a lot since becoming more popular) or cheeks, beef skirt, etc. etc.

Cooked another bap this morning. :o

Fried onion diced with a hint of chilli powder and cayenne pepper. fried til soft and reddish golden.

Chipolatas, stacked two abreast in my soft bun. Twas extremely tasty. :o
