40gbp is budget roughly. I have a RASPBERRY PI using OPENELEC which does the job and yeah I like it but for the price I've seen these sticks that run Android and XBMC - this is similer to using Linux/Debian+XBMC however the hardware is a lot better by the looks?????

single core vs dual+quad
The sticks and boxes usually come with bluetooth and wireless built in sometimes.
With Android you could boot out and into a web browser. We will need another few soon maybe try one or stick to my pi's. I'd like to game too a bit.
Can you get these machines barebone and load Android yourself, etc?
