Possilble Leaking roof - Help

Just been up the attic to find the Mrs' Nintendo and noticed a lot of condensation, wet boxes, and dripping water :(

Luckily we haven't had time to put more up there since moving in!

Here's some pictures:




I fear this may be a bit expensive :(

We've been drying a fair bit of washing in the house in the spare bedroom upstairs over the last few weeks... Could this be the cause? :confused:

Condensation.

Poor or total lack of ventilation.

You need to have clear space at the eaves, free of insulation, to allow air flow.

Do you have eave vents & ridge vents?

Have eave vents yes, 8 in total on the front.
I'll check the eaves for blockages, "seems" as if the insulation goes right up against the eaves from first glance.

Fingers crossed!

Have had a look outside and can't tell if I've got ridge vents or not.. Is it easy to spot from inside the attic?
 
Agree with Nightglow def condensation, gullies or valleys tend to appear if you 2 different pitch roofs like my flat had.

If you look under the soffits outside you should hopefully see some rectangle vents.

We've got one of these dehumidifiers. Use it when drying washing indoors and there's also no extractor fan in our bathroom. As the bathroom is downstairs, we can't leave the window open to vent after pre-work showers, so usually stick R2D2 on using the timer mode for 2 to 3 hours as we leave.
 
Looks like you need some baffles or chutes to allow air flow past the insulation, these should be simple to install, just pull back the insulation fix and roll back.

There's lots of pictures on google of ones stapled to OSB ply but yours is felt then tiles so you'll have to find some side fixed :)
