Just ordered this QTY : 1 - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £241.66, which came to a total of about £290 inclusive VAT.

Paid, checked the order details and..

VAT: £283.95
Order Total: £525.61

HOLY ***** Nearly had a heart attack, phoned them up and they said "We are aware of the issue and you are only being charged a total of £290, don't worry"

Thanks OCUK I nearly needed a pace maker

I once put a drill in my basket on Amazon, but for whatever reason closed my browser (which automatically cleans cookies) and then went back to the computer later, put the same drill in my basket, logged in, didn't pay attention to what I was doing and it still had the drill I'd put in there earlier. "Saved basket" or whatever. Even though I never explicitly told it to save said basket. Ended up getting a huge delivery thinking to myself "it looked much smaller in the pictures" only to open it and realise I now had two Makita's.

Oh I still got billed for both drills. Just decided to keep one and use it as a gift. Now I check and double check I haven't got a saved basket or there's an open order or something.

Ordered a 980 SC and got this same error, however mine spiked to around £700..

Needless to say I was straight on the phone also. This was Wednesday afternoon.
