I currently have a lge lx40 L1740b monitor and i would like to buy another one but sadly lg have upgraded their monitor panels so the new model has higher resolution. If i bought a second one would it be hard to balance the resolution so i could have dual screen setup.

Thanks

So your lg lx40 L1740b has a 1280x1024 resolution, but the newer models have 1600x1200 or?

You can use dual monitor setups with different sized resolutions, I used to use 1280x1024 with 1024x768:

Well any graphics card with 2 outputs would do, I only have a 6600gt at the moment (not ready to buy a whole new system just so I can get a dual dvi PCI-E card).

Unbranded, custom stand. A friends dad built it hehe. Looks really good with my 2 dell's on it;

I really like that stand, does the guy sell them at all? Do they swivel at all or are they in that fixed position?

I also see you have a Nebula DigiTV card :)

My dad made 5. Last one is gathering dust at the moment :o

Made 'em years ago but it seems to be only recently that people have expressed interest.

Here's some pics of their making:

Could you tell that from the little remote reciever? Oh and they are on ball joints so they will swivel all over but you have to tighten screws which locks them in position

The IR reciever and the remote :)

NathanE, name a price! Will it support two ViewSonic VX2025's? I'm not sure about the size difference compared to the Dells. The 'wall mount' of the VX2025's is 'VESA® FPMPMI 100mm x 100mm' (if that helps at all). I can't seem to get my screens postitioned *exactly* how I want them at the moment.

Mine has 2x 20" dell WS on it, and the little "arms" at the back are not even fully extended, I had them fully extended to start with so I could line them up perfectly and there was about 6" gap inbetween the 2 monitors I think !

Oh and the stands support VESA 75mm and 100mm!

When you have the screen stretched across the 2 how do you get it so when you play a game it comes up on the primary screen as normal instead of loading onto both screens or stretching the game across them both. This is with an x1800xt using catalyst control centre.
