I've yet made roper benchmarks but here's a rough:
2GHz, 1GB RAM, 80GB HDD.
All my games are Windows based so ran with Bootcamp.
I used Fraps for my FPS readings in game.
I found installing games on Windows takes a LONG time compared to my desktop, I'm guessing the HDD and the Superdrive is bottling it. Loading times in all these games are average to my previous desktop system which was 2.8GHz P4HT, 1GB PC3200, 120GB Maxtor 7200 HDD and ATi 9600NP 128MB.
Postal 2: STP - Ran over 30FPS constantly with 800x600 in multiplayer mode, apart from a few maps which has capacity for like 14 to 16, I added 12 Morons and hosted the game, dropped to about 18 to 25FPS. - Average to very playable.
TES3: Morrowind - Ran around a few cities and at 1024x768, most in high settings, I get constantly above 30FPS. - very playable.
(I did have issue with equiping lockpicks, whenever I equipe it, I get the BSOD. I've got Morrowind GOTY Edition. Abit annoyed so I've uninstalled and not gone further in the testing)
Unreal Tournament - Clasic UT running with everything high at native resolution 1280x800. Constantly above 40FPS even with 14 Bots added and hosting a LAN game for 2. - Very playable.
Warcraft 3 - Not played campaign mode yet but played about 4 rounds of LAN with my brother via wireless. Always 60FPS and only dropped when playing in large maps with more then 3 PCs (I was the host). - Very Playable.
(Can't remember the resolution, think it was 1024x768, or it might be native)
Star Wars - Jedi Academy - Play LAN and the first few missions, not a single jerk, which is very impressive. Not see FPS drop lower than 25FPS, always hovering about 30 to 48 FPS. - Very playable.
(Note: don't play this with Wireless Mighty Mouse, fricking cannot click both left and right mouse to initiate some moves.)
Gothic - Classic RPG game, play test it and it worked brilliantly. Can't remember the FRAPs figure but its definitely smooth. - Very Playable.
That's about all the games I've tested - gonna try GTA-SA and HL2 when Ive the time, running low on HDD space, only allocated 20GB to Win(Game)dows.
The MacBook, like what Apple claimed, is alright for casual gaming, don't even think of Oblivion.
Until I find time to do proper benchmarks, these are just my Opinion to how playable they are, some people find lower than 60FPS is utterly unplayable. You've been warned.
Hope this helps anyone thinking of gaming on the MacBook.
