hehe, if you find a wireless one, please let me know, would be awsome playing some css with a wireless pad sitting back and relaxed.

as for your question, on my previous rig (not on this temp one) i did have the drivers (not legit... if you know what i mean) to convert the usb cabled pads for the xbox 360 to pc use. was awsome! took me several weeks to track a working and non trojan infested packed driver, but it was worth it. ill try salvage the files from the HDD... although i doubt possible, but if i do, ill put em up on the web at a safe location.

apart from that... not sure to be honest hehe

I just downloaded the drivers from microsoft, worked fine :D

When you buy a 360 controller if you look on the packaging you will notice the windows icon stating that the pad is compatible. I tried a lot of gamepads and had problems for quite a while until I tried the 360 one and I have to say it was the best. I never had any problems with it.

 XFX Xgear PC Controller is a good one I find, comes wireless and wired ;)

thats got a tiny feel to it, i got bigger hands so leaning towards the logitech.

gonna go shopping now and see what i can pick up

cool, i just picked up the logitech cordless rumblepad 2 and been messing around with it now, very easy to setup just plugged it in and it worked straight out the box no need to even install any drivers.
thanks to the batteries the pad has a nice heaftly weight to it so it feels good to use.

only drawback is the D pad, it seems to be flimsy in its feel and motion. gave it the streetfighter test and all moves seem to come out easy, guess its something i have to get used to now and only time will solve.

for £12 quid though i doubt i would get a better wireless gamepad. :D

Holy thread necro .

Just wondering if the xbox pads are still worth it, as I have a dualshock lying around but would need to buy a converter.
