My daughter has to take music lessons up at school

I won in a competition a brand new usb keyboard (retails 400)

Only problem is that even though windows picks it up fine, there is no software to play it?

Does anyone know where to get some.

*Note- I am not asking for or want and warez or cracks, just a free program that allows you to hear the note and maybe record the key you push.

cheers

it it a midi keyboard?

you will need some kinda of software to use and generate sounds

As for sequencer CUBASE is the only way to go .It a waste time learning anything else .I think Cubase H2O is the educational version most people learn on before buying it.The retail version starts at about £90 for the stripped down STEINBERG CUBASE SE 3 to £600 + for cubase sx4
