I've had my Wavemaster for almost 3 years and in my opinion it's one of the sexiest cases ever made. I think the build quality is very good and the looks are a statement.

Unfortunately it's now becoming a huge barrier to my Overclocking. I've changed all stock fans, placed fans all around the case testing for better temps and to put it bluntly, it just can't cool!

I took the side panel off and the temps I were getting were as follows:

Idle: 32
Under Load: 46

With Side Panel on:

Idle:41
Load: 56

That's a staggering 10 degrees difference!

I've been looking at the Silverstone range and many other cases, I just can't find the 'one'. I like the looks of TJ07 but it's price is rather high for something without a sidepanel.

My requirements are firstly, the case must look very nice, secondly with quiet fans the cooling must be brilliant. I'm willing to spend more on replacing stock fans but that's as far as I'll go.

My budget is upto £160 mark, it should have an available windowed side panel or a plain side panel should be available so I can make my own. It must fit the following scheme (Black Case again?):

People of OcUK, show me what you can come up with :D

You can get the TJ-07 with a window in either black or silver ;) Thats the case I was looking at before going with the U2-UFO.

My 2 peneth worth

Swapping my old case with:

1x 120 Akasa Amber rear fan
2 x 80 Akasa Amber front fans
1 x 80 Akasa Amber side fan
and xp120 cooler and fan on the cpu
Zalman thingy on the gpu

for an Antec 900

Took temperatures down by 10-15 degrees across the board.

That was on opteron 146. When I upgraded to the e4300 the arctic cooling freezer 7 pro didn't come on at all, even when benching in 3d6. I assume the airflow was such that passive cooling was enough. Since I have overclocked it I have put the cpu fan on by default (PWM still v quiet)

My temperaures with an overclock to 3.2 (vcore 1.4) are 32 idle and 55 uner 100% load (TAT).

It is very quiet, much quieter than my previous case. The looks are good (to me anyway - you seem to like blue LEDs too).

It is very nice but £230

Also what's swayed it, is silent PC didn't rate it too highly :(

TJ-09 is spoiled by the Vent me thinks.

Come on OcUK :(

I'd swop the 830 for the 810 (I mean the 810 is better case, not that I want the 830)
