basically wanting an animal for my bedroom but there is some problems before getting 1 or 2....

First problem is that i hate noise in my bedroom when im trying to sleep, bad enough when the gf stays round and she breeths havily, so thinking something like a hamster chewing the food all nihgt would end with it or me dead.

second problem is smell and cleaning. My mum doesnt want a hamster or something like that as they make smells and although i would clean it, tbh i dont want a pee smelling room either.

So what i need help with is advice on what animal(s) i can get that would be resonably cheap, live in some sort of cage, not make too much noise, and smell beautiful.

My main idea for atleast one pet would be fishes. Had them before and they dont smell, dont make no noise, cheapish (ruddy fish tanks) only problem would be cleaning them out which was a bore and too often. Now i know you can get like tank cleaners, seen them on finding nemo, but dont know how much they are and how much noise they make, also can get these magnets thing, but again price.

Any other animals anyone can suggest, something like a mouse, hamster, gerbil type thing? thanks everyone

Hamsters dont make noise chewing the food, however they are nocturnal, and if you have one of those wheels, they will keep you up all night.

Fish are a good idea though, no smell, no mess, no noise, low maintaince, only need cleaning out every 3 months, you can even get auto feeders. They arent very exciting though.
