People always say - don't bother! It's too small/cramped etc!!

But i like a challenge.

Will update the thread as we go but current hardware is :

Q6600
Gigabyte P35C-DS3R
4gb of Black Dragon PC6400 ram
3 hard drives
1 dvd rom
Antec 900
Corsair 620HX

Going to water cool it with the following:

PUMP
SwiftechMCP655™ series 12 VDC Pumps

2x120mm Radiator
Swiftech MCR220-QP

Reservoir
Alphacool Cape Coolplex Pro 25 Reservoir

CPU waterblock
APOGEE™ GT

Tubing
Masterkleer 7/16" Tubing

GPU Block
D-Tek Fuzion Universal VGA Block.

Ideas as follows:

very very quick sketch up of the ideas i am going with.

The reservoir will be on the top of the case above the 200mm fan and then i intend to get the tubing to go down through the top of the case where the little rubber mat bit is(for all the people that know the Antec 900). Therefore in future if i get rid of it for any reason the rubber matt will cover the 2 holes in the case!

Tubing not shown in this as it's hard to do in mspaint!!!

Still need to work out how to fit 3 hard drives and a dvd rom into 3 x 5.25" bays. The actually amount of times i use the DVD rom is maybe once a fortnight or even longer so tempted to leave this out for now and work out how to fit it in later some time.

Still doing a fair bit of reading about where you should "push" the air through the radiator by using the cool air from outside the case, or "pull" the hot air from the radiator for the best cooling.

Also going to matt black the inside of the case which i have started. Primed it last night and will get some pictures up later of the case stripped down, new cable holes added and some spray painting tonight i hope.

Will do my best to keep this updated.

Gl, sounds like a good project! It a fairly small case for Water Cooling, but I'd love to see some proper modding. Plus if you UV the liquid with an abundance of pipes to look at through the case it will look a lot more technical rather than having massive gaps in larger cases.

First 3 pics for you

Empty stripped case - ready for action

Primed case ready for paint - also with all new cable holes hacked into it - will be tidying them up with some black smooth edges:p:p

Painted case - couple of coats so far - will see what it dries like. No need to spray the top and bottom edges etc as they are covered by the side panels etc

Also it looks like some bits have been missed but it's actually the paint drying and my flash on the camera!

im going to keep an eye on this

i saw a watercooling loop in a 900 on another site and the guy made a right pigs ear of it

also there is no optical drive on your design

pics would be good - subscribed!

also there is no optical drive on your design

yeah i know - i have 3 hard drives and an optical drive - all to fit in 3 x 5.25" bays!:eek: i hardly use the optical drive at all.

So will either put the optical drive in with 2 hard drives and have my 3rd drive attached in an external housing as that is only used as a backup disc or i am toying with the idea of possible suspending the 3rd drive inside the case somehow!

All to be worked on this weekend more as the missus is working!!

Admire your courage! ;) I have the '900 and have also been contemplating W/C but did not think it would be feasible in this case!

Subscribed!:D

someone has managed it like, ive tried to find him. if you look through the desktop thread and you'll see someones has put a w/c kit in it. will find the pic.

nice one - well i put the fans on the radiator tonight, tested the fan controller is working ok and drilled the holes in the top of the case to pass the tubing through from the ressy that will be on top.

internet down last night for some reason - full update later but cpu blocks, gpu blocks, radiator and ressy all fitted last night. All tubing fitted (sore thumbs this morning to show for that). Looks good so far - not had the chance to fill the ressy/tubes yet.

Personally compared to having a sycthe ninja cooler and a S1 on the gfx card i think the case has more room!!

Pictures of the build so far later on. Busy day ahead.
