Free Haribo with my order

I thought it was just ebay sellers after good feedback that did this, but when i got my OcUK order in the post this morning there was a tiny packet of haribo in there too.

To me it seems a bit gimicky for a large company, but if they want to send me free stuff on top of my free shipping then I'm not going to stop them! Thanks OcUK

I've noticed various retailers sometimes put little treats in with orders, although normally the retailers are either smaller/more specialized, or the treats are slightly more related to the product (IE bookmarks in book orders, postcards for related series with DVD's).

/wonders if this is a new policy at OCUK HQ, and if you get Tangtastic with the larger orders.

Well Haribo are German....

The packing polystyrene "S"s would have more flavor though. I hate Haribo .

we used to get bars of chocolate from the company that I used to order the light bulbs off for work. They were rather more expensive than other light bulb companies but I did love the free chocolates. They then stopped it and I ordered them from the cheaper place again. haha

There's a bike part company called Superstar who include one or two little bags of Haribo with every order, it's always a nice surprise when you open the box

Not a gift but I'm always impressed with Alpkit, they include a short hand written note with every order. Personal touches like that are rare these days and they stick in your mind.

Haribo should make a geek mix,

Jelly Capacitors, CPU's, microchips etc.
