Just got FARCRY, need help

Hi there guys,

New to farcry, just bought the game because it was on for cheap. Wondering if anyone reccomends and mods that are played online (what i will be doing).

if you have a newer gcard eg x800/6600 or newer, then youll need to download the 1.3 patch. it stops the shadows going all weird and blocky.

without all the patches installed you can't access servers . the patches totally transform the graphics into high res, select paradise in the video option, its superb quality & the AI will give you a run for your money

If you have a x64 CPU then go to and download all the 64bit patches (can also work on 32bit XP). These enable a higher quality gfx mode & a few other draw distance improvements plus some x64 only exclusive content. Be warned however it is approx 1GB of downloads!

Yep most important thing is to get 64bit content and patch to version 1.33.

i would play single player before multi. Single player is good
