I know theres a few online versions of this but does anyone know a good free plugin for word that will let me save word docs as pdfs?

Open Office has it implemented as standard. There is an option in the menu to save as a .pdf
sounds interesting. id rather have it in word though
JawsPDF Creator plugs into Word. It is about £50 though but still way cheaper than Acrobat.

or get on the office 12 beta program... as 'save as pdf' is going to be standard in the next version of word.

I use ghostscript and ghostview which works pretty well.

I wish I had seen that post a few weeks ago. I used this product today and it is just AWESOME! I'm using Adobe Distiller instead of the converter they provide, but I would guess their version is just as good. Text, graphics, and even the FONTS are completely intact, even on a virgin machine.hybrid said:
1) PDF995 installs itself as a print driver, so from the application you're using, simply print to that driver, as a File, and save with a .PS extension.
2) Open the converter (in my case, Distiller), and open the .PS file you just saved.
3) Convert and open the PDF file. Behold! A perfect PDF!
