Hi there

After speaking to ATI at length regarding X1900 pricing and what their plans are to compete with the 7900 launch ATI has confirmed price drops and luckily for OcUK all our old higher priced stock has more or less sold out which means with immediate effect we can drop X1900 prices substancially which should make us the cheapest in Europe. :)

Check the X1900 section on OcUK out for yourself:-

X1900 XT from £269 +VAT
X1900 XT-X from £295 +VAT
X1900 Crossfire from £319 +VAT

OcUK also has a few more great deals too:-
X1800 XT 256MB from £195 +VAT
X1800 XT 512MB from £219 +VAT
X800 GTO on AGP is back from Sapphire at just £119 +VAT :D

I believe this makes the X1900 an extremely well priced product and makes it a superb buy for the performance the card offers.
This should also mean yet again OcUK is first to bring you the best prices and hopefully our prices will be far lower than found at our competitors. :)

Then buy from the UK as you will still save money.

I hear you, however RMA's will take a long time mate.
Perhaps it is worth it as end customer prices at OCUK are on par with the prices the swedish retailers get from the suppliers!

aww uve gotta be bloody kidding me. mine arrives today and the same day it arrives it drops in price. i can now get a xtx at the same price i got my xt i got yesterday and it would perform better on my 2405fpw :(

yeah but the xtx clocks further, and i havent even opened my xt as im still waiting on the case and psu to arrive.

Simple answer. Return it (you have 7 days under the DSR) and buy the XTX instead.

Well I can tell you now that the XFX 7900 GTX is £319+ VAT and the XFX 7900 GT XXX is going to be £215+ VAT so these ATI prices look excellent. I don't know how much stock of the new Nvidia range OCUK has in but I know it will be no where near the volume of the X1900's.

well the only thing is when opening it to check everything is one piece, the carrying handle caught the box and ripped it a bit, but for the product itself its brand new not used.

Gibbo any advice on this what so ever?

Distance Selling Act is law. 7 Days for no questions asks refund assuming its in resalable condition etc etc.

but is there not a re-stocking fee?

and i am glad that these manufacturers decide to see sense and drop the prices for gfx cards, £600+ is silly pricing. lets hope cpu makers will do the same thing nearly £800 for top end cpu is pushing it too.

OCUK only refund what the price of the product is NOW at the time they recieve it back to them. You will lose money. Its really your own faults as you knew the 7900 were coming out in a week and you knew that would lower prices.

Are you sure of this? I dont think that is legal. The idea of the Distance Selling malarky is 100% refund with no cost to you other than sending back.

Well ive got a lan on the 16th and i need this new machine and there was no indication that these price drops were coming before mid march. so technically no it isnt my fault :P

I dont mind paying the postage back to ocuk aslong as i get a 100% refund so i can get the x1900XTX
