I've gone for the £14.99 a month package that allows me unlimted films and games rentals with 3 games/films out at any time.

prices start from £9.99 per month.. :)

Err me neither.

So basically you can get a game for as long as you want for £14.99 a month? Then swap etc, I dunno if that's good or bad :p

Ahhh see here

Hmm I just signed up for the swapgame.com trial but this one will be much better as they do DVD's too, going to sign up :)

Going through the terms and conditions the only thing I didn't like was this:

"You agree to treat the discs and their associated packaging with the utmost care at all times. You agree that you may need to compensate ScreenSelect for any disc lost or returned in an unacceptable condition (beyond reasonable wear and tear) - and that you allow ScreenSelect to charge such compensation to your debit/credit card. We will notify you of any such charges."

Anybody who has used their service who has lost a disc care to comment?

is there a minimum contract?

There are monthly free trials floating about ..... just use google. The free trials have no commitments. Also there is no minimum contract. You can cancel at anytime.

It's just that from reading it they seem to want you to have to chase Royal Mail for lost items and claim for the compensation and the £30 Royal Mail offer won't cover a 360 game.

Just to me it seems like hastle for me to have to form fill through Royal Mail myself when they can do it and I wouldn't want to get charged for the excess because they won't use an appropriate insured delivery service.

Apart from this it seems like a good service. I may give them a ring to see what they say about the matter. :)

Pretty much all the rental places have the same policies. I had lost 2 discs from Blockbuster (they never arrived back to them) but I was not charged.
I've used screen select before - no problems with them.

So it's not unlimited then? You can't have 'unlimited' games out for aslong as you want, and it's not an 'unlimited' offer as it's £14.99 a month?

I've been a member of screenselect for about 3yrs now, absolutely superb service, a few of the dvd's i've sent back have gone missing in the post, they had no problems with this when I explained.

I'm really glad to see they are now doing games :)

They don't mimit you to a maximum number of rentals per month whereas other rental firms do.
That said there is a limit to how fast you can turn them around in the post.
