Internet going very strange!

Hi, i can get on here and google and some other sites but not onto msn, hotmail, nvidia (need drivers). Really can't work out what is happening.

I'm on NTL 1mb "broadband", is anyone else having this problem or is it just me? :(

I had problems until i switched my proxy server.

I'm on "sotn-cache-1.server.ntli.net" port 8080 now, and i can access everything i could before.
 
Ntl have gone to the wee wee's again. Seeing people all over the place on my msn list atm.
 
so confused :confused:

Google keeps going on and off. still cant get on msn, nVidia now works.

Any ideas how long its going to be like this? And also why is OCUK never ever affected!? :p

ntl proxys seem to be going funny again,

In brighton on NTL 10mb here

switch to brighton proxy 6 and ebay is working again, was panicing as had an auction ending soon!!!!

Weird. I was just about to put a post up about this as well. I can't get on certain sites, can't get on eBay, but I can get the BBC home page. But then I can't get any other BBC page! NTL really does drive me up the wall sometimes.

How can I change my proxy to the one you mention, Barbie?

Had spend like 30mins trying different things, managed to get onto OCUK so searched and found nothing so tought i'd find out if it was just me.

I "think" everything is ok for me, hopefully...
 
:( not much working for me,

Tried the proxy, seems to have worked a little, but is very slow. I pay for 10meg and I want 10meg :p :(

Web browsing is generally rubbish (slow, or non-existant on some sites), MSN Messenger doesnt know what its doing, signing into my BF2 account takes an age and I cant get onto any servers...


....gotta love NTL. :rolleyes:
 
This wall next to me seems to have an increasingly large appeal to put my head through :mad:

It's like it's disabling every damned search engine out there: Yahoo worked when I first went on then it died, Google the same happened, Lycos the same happened again and now BBC's has gone aswell. Never realised how much I relied on those damned search engines :p
