Hi, I've got an orange SPV M2000 which I want to give to my brother to use, but he is with another network. Anyone know if there is an easy way to unlock it - i have done a search on google but cant find anything.

Any help wil be much appreciated.

Thanks

Phone Orange. £20.

Hmmm, yeah - I was trying to find a way without any extra expense. I used to have an SPV C500 and I found some free software online which unlocked that, so I has hoping there may be something similar out there?

Hi mate, I've sent an email to the address in your trust with some info.

Ok, I think I have 'Bricked' my phone - anyone know how to do a hard reset on one of these?

I installed some software to unlock it to any network but now it is asking me to enter a code!!!

What exactly is it asking for? Security code? NUC? PUK? GID?
so many to choose! :D

But if it's bricked, you need a new handset. This is why you should ring Orange in the first place :)

It says "service provider is locked, please input unlock code"... and I have tried several codes from some different forums but with no joy.

I hope it isn't bricked but if it is then I may have to claim on the insurance :(

BUMP!

Someone somewhere is having a toffee crisp.. erm.. I mean someone somewhere must be able to help!

pleeeeeeaaaaaaasssseee!

hard reset is holding the power and presseing the reset pin in. I unlocked mine no problems...don't think I was asked for a code, was a long time ago now. Try the xda-developers forum, I think that helped me out a lot.
