Great line up - I did wonder why no one was around in Ibiza that week!

God, I hope we don't end up going to Ibiza that week cos it looks everyone will be at GG!

You can have the biggest, burliest speakers in the world but it doesn't mean they're gonna be cranked.

i was so disappointed at global 2004 the system was shocking in the dnb tent!!!! U couldnt hear the MC's the sound just sounded awful wasnt clear or anything. Any other tent in the whoooole place was sounding a lot better than the DNB one was a disgrace :mad:

To be honest, last years Global was the best weekend id had ever, just amazing.

The pick i will be definately seeing this year :

Tiesto (amazing set last year, 3 hrs long, completely
Lisa Lashes (also a mint set last year)
Scratch Perverts (had everyone in the Afrodizzyscratch tent rushing last year)
Groove Armada (saw them at Sankeys and that was a blinder of a night)
Fat Boy Slim (never seen, but will be great no doubt)
Daft Punk (also never seen, but have to watch with it being a UK exclusive)

Then to be honest im gonna see loads more, i just cant wait, i think we should sort the ocuk meet, i went last year and met some chaps off the e-festivals forum, we we're all meant to camp together but the chap organizing got caught in traffic and i was first there so didnt have a clue where they would be so just set up a camp somewere else. Maybe we could merge the e-fest and ocuk meet/camp together?

I'm just sooooooo looking forward to it, its gonna be ONE MESSY WEEKEND!

Oakenfold really isn't that good anymore

His style is leaning more and more towards house and his yet to be released artist album is full of copycat rip-offs.

meh, i'm not amazingly well-versed in the world of (what i like to call) "club music". not sure if that's the correct term. all i know is the Oakenfold i've heard, i've liked, and that's good enough for me.

Is there a an OCUK meet happening for this one ?

The line up is pure quality this year was there the past 2 years and its a great event. Problem is i might not have anyone to go with this year

and wouldnt mind meeting up with some folk.

I booked my ticket without checking if any of my mates were coming. OCUK meet would be fine by me, I'll need someone to feed and water me.

OMFG just realised daft punk are going to be at global gathering (i hadnt read this thread :rolleyes:

) as one of there 6 maybe last ever tour dates :eek:

would love to see daft punk ,deep dish, fatboy slim, erol alkan etc, shame most mates are all into indie/rock and are off to leeds :/

id definetly be up for a ocuk meet with anyone else who wants to go.

anyone know if single day tickets will be coming available ?

well we'll sort something out, im confident i'll arrive very early in the day, around about between 10 and 11, so i'll gladly like set up camp, and try to save space, but it is very hard to save your own space in the camp site unless you cordon off your own area.
