In another sub-forum a discussion got on about Black Tygon, a decision was made to put it in the right forum.

Thats the only image that i have at the moment, although someone else had another image.

The link ive found ship to the uk however, you have to buy 50ft at a time, which is £144. But this is only 1/2" OD

I was wondering, if we get enough interest in the stuff:

A: OCUK may stock the stuff

or

B: We get some kind of bulk buy thing going on.

I know for sure that im going to be needing around 10ft, so if anyone else wants some, register ** interest here.

PS: I hope this is allowed, as i dont fancy a holiday.

Regarding the above - wouldnt we need .5" internal diameter? If so the closest stuff is the:

Yeah soz we do need 1/2" diameter which will cost $471 !!!! :eek:

For just 50ft.

Has anyone found any other companies that do this?

That dude in that pic has got 1/2 Fittings on that block, but the tubing is smaller, i think you can make it fit, but you need to heat the ends first?

Yes, i have got 7/16" normal Tygon in my rig atm. Its much better than .5" as it can bend more without kinking and looks slightly smaller (hence neater) than normal .5" stuff. You do need to dip the ends in hot water before sliding them on but its not much hassle at all.

EDIT: http://www.mcmaster.com do it as well. Its not a competitor as it looks like it does industrial/building stuff, not PCs!

Well 1/2" OD is a lot more attractive by the foot at only $1.68 per ft.

Thats pretty difficult tbh, even with heating it.

Looking at my tubing, I'd definitely be interested in a month or 2 (when I start my new job) I'd need about 7 foot I think! Also It would go so nicely with my black case

Tried it,what a nightmare !! I would be in no hurry to try it again :eek:

Just wondering why people are afetr this black tygon as aposed to clear tygon ?
just becasue its black ?
pop down to a garden centre and buy some pond hose... its shiney, and black... ribbed too so you can bend it a full ight 180 degrees ?

use it at work but its 8, 6 and 4 mm pretty sure its uv ok

I've been using black silicone for some time. It's much cheaper than Tygon, but not quite as flexible / kink resistant.

12mm i think would b ok, depends on how big u want really, i know i can get 8mm black for free

and 6 n 4mm.... but in small lengths like 3 ft and small quantities too..
