Yay, in a great mood today, finally got myself a new job. I've been living and working in Leeds for over 7 years now, and for the past 3 years have been waiting for the right job to come along so I can move back to Liverpool to be with my family, friends and gf. Went for an interview last Wednesday, and got a call in the afternoon to say they couldn't decide between 2 of us for the post, and were waiting on references before making their minds up. Got the call this morning and they told me that they couldn't decide in the end, so we've both been offered a job! 
The job is IT support in a school in Liverpool, about a 10 minute walk from where I'll be living. It's going to be hard work without doubt, but that'll suit me fine, days go faster when you're working hard I find. Handing in my notice this afternoon, and then it's 4 weeks left until I can finally go home.

I think it's about 500 or so. Myself and the other chap will be joining a team which currently has 2 people in it, so we'll double the size. There'll be plenty of work to go around though, I know that much.
