well just wondering if you could tell us a bit about it's performance? There's a very easy to follow review template in fact in the sticky and having a first hand review of this monitor would be very interesting. If you have chance it takes you through a few tests and covers all the key areas while remaining brief so you don't get annoyed with it :)

This TFT looks really nice indeed. Be nice if Overclockers had it on the 'This Week Only' as i have found it a lot cheaper elsewhere.

Be interested in some views on it myself.

I agree it is the best looking 19" screen by a long way.

Everytime I go into the big PC store I look at these screens and dribble. It's the glass front and flush bezel which make it so striking.

The only reason I haven't bought this screen is because 4:3 is dated now.

If they made a 20" widescreen version with the same styling, I would lap it up in a flash!

i will get the review up after this bank holiday as i am at my parents. and will use the template and get some programs running. with regard to picture, i m afriad i do not have a decent digital camera however i can try to make some video shots and still shots using my Webcam if thats any use.

i shall start another thread here. be tuned

Does this tft use the 8ms AU Optronics MVA Panel or the 8ms CMO TN film panel?

certainly TN Film, but not sure if it is a CMO panel like the XA7-192i used or not.

Also depends on price etc etc. This TFT can be had for a really good price if you shop around! Have seen it for £170 inc of VAT and delivery!

Just waiting on some good reviews of it.

regard to your techie 8m stuff, i do not know, and it does not state on the box either, yes i had used TFT for ages, and seen loads too, but this is really good performance.

I played WoW and Oblivion on it all the time, no obvious ghosting etc, its superb.

it looks amazing with its styling, and its very practical, as it swirl, it solves viewing angel issues and u dun have to turn the monitor to suit your viewing position, also it comes with v heavy cast steel base with brushed finish, so its extremely durable. the glass infront is very ncie touch, its anti glare and so u can work in direct sun light and still have perfect images without risking the colors to fade or wash out.

overall its very nice thought out display with all sort of lil practical things that u appreciate, however one thing is the control which is a bit too muhc for me, and the buttons are plastic and has cheap feel to it, which is a shame. but the sound on this thing is not too bad. yes its a multimedia display i didn't knwo it until i got it.

and tried to sue the programs at the sticky to do some tests, but they don't work either link is broken or they dun work

did the white and black screen test no defects at all, and what am i suppose to see from pallet tests etc?

i got mine for £200 btw overclockers do not stock this particular model
