Hi All,

Is it worth getting a freeview box? Are there any decent channels? Or is it more of the same rubbish that is on the normal channels?

Its alright, ive used it much less since ITV4 stopped showing the saint and Men & motors became a quiz program.

Theres usually a few good films on through the week, and ITV2 is handy for watching things youve missed. Also, FilmFour is coming onto it in July free of charge i believe, so it might be worth it for that.

The box is relately cheap itself, but it cost us £140 to get 2 aeriels put onto the roof for it :o

I think it is worth it. You get some decent channels, such as E4, more4, Sky sports news/sky news and the ones already mentioned.

I use a indoor aerial and i pick up all the channels with a signal strength of 95% nearly all the time, but i live near the transmitter :) .

My digital box cost be exactly £20 of the fleabay.

If you didn't know channel 5 are also launching channels on freeview :D If you dont already have Sky/NTL/Telewest then you are in for a treat :)

How on earth did it cost that much

2x cheap £15 aerials + string = :D

a lot of the channels are full of crap like shopping channels/quiz channels but BBC 3/4, ITV 2/3/4 and E4/More4 show some decent stuff depending on what you're in to.

I'm a Sky man but I bought a lcd with freeview.

Now can someone tell me where ITV1 is and also where E4 is as I only get E4+1?
