Liverpool Parade

Today there was a huge parade through Liverpool, run by Brouhaha International. It was certainly spectacular.

With my shots, I tried to show the people there rather than the "event" and memory concerns (I had left a 1Gb card at home) meant I had to be cautios with my shots - so I probably missed a few. Ah well, thats life.

The shots up to and including the guy in red with the whistle were taken with the 100-400L, the rest with the 70-200 F/4L.

Depends what you deem pricey. the results from the 70-200 look fantastic from here so sharp and such good colours. super value for money at £400-500. i fancy one.

Great shots DRZ, last one has got to be my favourite.

Nice collection. I was starting to see a pattern of mingers until the 2 photos of the girl in the yellow came along :eek:

I really love that picture of the girl with the face paint. The detail is fantastic as is the composition.
