Went up to Mallory Park yesterday to do a days single seater driving, was really good fun 
Started off with some familierisation laps in a brand new Impreza STI, then went on to drive Formula Fords, Vauxhall Lotus Single seater, Caterham super 7 and then had a go in a Focus RS.
The Vauxhall Lotus single seaters were unbelievable, the guy was saying the forumla fords were just like deluxe go karts compared to these things, 0-60 in under 3 secs apparently. Not sure if that's true but flippin' quick and as it had proper spoilers it seemed to stick to the ground a lot better than the Formula Fords which felt a bit twitchy.
So the other half didn't feel left out paid for her to have some passenger laps in a Radical, this guy was lapping twice as fast as anything else
There was also a classic day going on as well, loads of D type Jags being ragged around, albeit slowly
Had a really good day in the end, rain held off allowing the track to dry out enough before getting into the race cars.
