HI there

OcUK is proud to announce exclusive availability of both Titan Heatsinks products and the new Sunbeam Tuniq Tower.

Everybody here knows about the Tuniq Tower 120 as its won many rewards but not everybody may know about the Titan coolers.

First of all we have the Amanda which uses a TEC to aid cooling, in past such designs have had many floors due to TEC's unable to cope with CPU heat output but on the Amanda the TEC does not directly cool the CPU and as such the results from reviews look promising.

Then we have the Vanessa, this cooler is a direct competitor to the Tuniq Tower 120 as in reviews it either performs similar or slightly better and as such we expect this to be a great seller.

Finally is the Titan Tower, this is a great cooler for the money, its performance rivals the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro but it does cost a little less so is an ideal solution for overclockers on a budget. :)

You can view these products here:-

OcUK has once again set its self apart from the competition by listening to its customers and getting in these much demanded coolers and at very fair prices. :)

Good going Gibbo, some nice products you've got there. Shame(Well, not a shame at all really) that im going to phase change and water cooling soon.

The size of the Amanda scares me :(

Jeez it's over a kilogram in weight!!! Does it use the lugs on the Socket 939 // AM2?

However looking at the installation notes, I have to say I was impressed by the way they mount anad suspend the heatsink using wires :D

Which one do I get for the very best air cooling? Bar the amanda as that costs and arm, leg and a kidney.
The vanessa is an excellent cooler, better than the Tuniq Tower, but it's all about cost.

The Tuniq does look awesome though.

Hi there

The prices are excellent, you don't get things for nothing and if you want decent lumps of metal that companies have spent thousands researching they are gonna cost money.

Great to see all of the great coolers finally going to be available at OcUK!! No more fuss seaching them all over the world. The titan amanda will be out early october and I will have enough time to get the money for it :D. Thumbs up for OcUK for being the best overclockers paradise in UK!!

The vanessa beats the tuniq tower? Not sure if I should buy it, the stupid faceplate on the top looks rubbish whereas the tuniq tower looks a lot more refined.

If you still use the wavemaster case just like you said on the " OcUK stocking Tuniq Tower 120?" thread, tuniq tower will not fit in you wavemaster....i'm 99% sure about that ;) Both the titan vanessa and tuniq tower are a great cooler. It's up to you to choose which one...

Dont care about the wave master, if I have to cut a hole in the side to fit it in I will lol.
Whats this TEC thing the vanessa has?

I'm not entirely sure how the TEC works in the Amanda.

However a T.E.C is an acronym which stands for Thermo Electric Cooler, basically a plate through which a current is passed. By passing a current through it, it creates the Peltier effect, whereby one side of the heatsink gets very hot and the other side gets cold.

Traditionally, a high powered T.E.C was used sandwiched between a coldplate and a waterblock. You also used to need a very high quality, high output power supply, not a traditional PC one, but a special bench srtyle PSU to power a T.E.C.

Basically, the T.E.C cools the CPU with the cold side, however the combined output from the CPU and the T.E.C used to require a very very good cooler, in most cases watercooling on the top side/hot side of the CPU.

I don't know how Titan have used the T.E.C in this case
