I want more

On a sadder note, I'm very worried about the farm back home. At the moment, Stanford is showing 12 cores running.

I should have 18 - 2 on the laptop here, 10 in my bedroom and 6 in the sitting room. the 2 I have here added to the 10 in the bedroom make 12. I can't help seeing an image of the sitting room ransacked and devoid of PCs and monitors (including the new Conroe rig and a 2405FPW

).

I hope I'm worrying over nothing and it's just a blown fuse or something but there's about £4500 worth of computer equipment in there and everybody else is offshore and there is no-one to check on things for me.

Memory speed seems to help more than processor speed.

good chap - these must have just come out of Beta so -advmethods will definately be the way to go at the moment

Pulling two machines out of Beta as they like them too much (rest will stay in).

First wu with advmethods on is a 170 ppd 396 pointer. Disappointed

Gonna go back to the 600 pointers I think.
