Awesome Bioshock vid

The graphics look great, but doesnt seem much different to what else is out there. The AI when that woman/mutant thing gets attacked by the security bot is POOR. The guy talking also kept going on about how many options you have to do things/how open the game is...shooting a camera, turning it off or just hoping it doesn't spot you is hardly sounds state of the art.

They've a long way to go to make it 'unlike any other FPS', or whatever he said.

Cheers downloading now, is it the same video as the low-quality 100mb version? I'm not bothered if it is, it'd be nice to view it proprely instead of all blocky and blurry. :D

I've got high hopes for it - if you've played through System Shock 2, I'm sure you can appreciate what they're probably trying to do with it.

To be honest, it looks like the term "spiritual successor" means "remake the game with a different plot" to me ;)

Completely agree :)

Speaking of which, there's a new FM out on ttlg at the moment. Looks promising, if for no other reason than laughing at all the voice acting :p
 
It does look rather nice, though I'd like to see the PC interface being a little better than the Xbox one.
 
Yeah... I noticed the console interface. Hope they do improve that thought a simplistic interface isn't the end of the world - I'm more worried about how the AI's movement and fighting ability will transition from console FPS to pc FPS.
 
great :confused: screetching girls clawing at the ceiling, chucking endless shards at me again,and unless i could grab objects, like shield to walk past her while shes doing it or something.id say being at the tethers edge with ammo in a forgotten failling world surrounded by water.to be fairly similar to whats just been around.

still im saying this from my exp with this video
its probably more fun if the guy isnt talking through it

Have you played System Shock 2? This is more RPG first than anything else really, FPS second.
 
does look pretty damn good, i think the AI exploits are well worth investigating, always good when you can get the computer to kill itself and not you.

definatly somthing to get when it comes out
