Massive Heatpipe Cooler Shootout

Yes...the Zalman cooler doesn't seem to be as popular over here as it does on other forums. Not sure why....from all the reviews I could find the CNPS9500LED, Scythe Ninja, Big Typhoon, and Tuniq Tower were all a toss up...they all got pretty similar results.

Anyway I think it's about time for me to go water! :D

Reqeust - If u read the artice post something to bump thread to top. Its gonna help with those 'which cooler is better' threads. Getting a bit much now. ;)

*Thinks back to how many times I have recomended the Zalman and people have laughed it off and said to get the Big Typhoon and other coolers.*

I've had my 9500 on a few chips now, and I have never been limited by temperature (even with the fan at 5v I still don't get a problem)

well, my big typhoon cost £18 inc vat from local shop. the zalman9500 costs £35 inc vat. value for money does play a part in some cases.

the Zalman really is a great cooler for the money. My E6300 never goes about 35C Idel and 54 Load.

Really worth it.

I got mine when it was on offer at £28 or something ;)

:D

I don't have a problem with paying a little extra for something of better quality

Ive got two 114 cfm Panaflos on my Ninja :D

One on each side, :D

How did you mount the 2nd fan? As the kit only comes with one pair of clips...

Pics would be great :)

Will take pics when i get home,

I used some Cable ties, and made it into a square shape then pulled one corner tight :)

Thought about this myself but not sure if I can fot another fan in with the limited space inside my case.

What are your temps like with them fans! I hit about 55 under load with 1 44cfm fan on the setup in sig

I had the Zalman 9500 for few month now and it's been great. Definately the most attractive cooler if you have a side window in your PC. I'm switching over to watercooling in a few days so might sell it soon.
