Anyone got pics of a 20" next to a 24" screen?

Try here was wondering the same kinda things.

You'll have to scroll down a bit.

Still can't make up my mind between one 24 or two 20's :(

Thats me pretty much sold. I'll make some lame excuse that I need the extra height for Photoshop. :p

2 20's wouldn't be economical considering I'd need to disable SLI as well. :o

Dell 2405FPW vs Dell 2005FPW :)

That pic with the 20 and 24 inchers has convinced me to invest in a 24 inch, if only I had enough money for a 30". It's the size and res of 4 of my laptop screens stuck together, insane!!!

Haha. The resolution on the 30" is crazy. Physically too big though. I don't think it's suited for desktop use.

I went from a 2001FP (had it a year) to a 2407WFP, just delivered on Monday :) I've only used the 2407 for a couple of hours since (not fair :( ) and damn right it is a class screen and if you've got the money, go for it. In truth, has anybody here read about somebody regretting going to 24"?
Another point - I was considering keeping the 2001FP alongside the 2407 and doing the dual-monitor thing, but the thin, sleek frame & stand of the 2407 puts the somewhat bulky 2001 to shame. I just can't have them sitting beside each other so am going to sell the 2001 on. Plus my 2001 was silver so the colours don't match greatly either (small point really but adds to the reason).

The reason I upgraded was because of the price the 2407 has dropped to recently. After I placed the order it took 3 weeks to deliver, 3 weeks which I spent wondering why I'd need anything bigger than 20" (20" is huge), but once the new one got delivered those thoughts soon went out the window :)

The reason i am asking is because i have the choice of either buying the 24" BenQ monitor and connecting my PC and games consoles to it (with the advantage of 1080p), or keeping my current 20" and having a seperate 32" HDTV (720p) for my games consoles.
Whichever i buy will last me a few years hopefully, and whichever i choose, it will end up costing the same.
Its just a matter of 1080p + practicality vs. size.

You havent by any chance got a picture of a Dell 2001 next to a 2405 do you? I just want to look at the difference in vertical height. I know they both have the same vertical resolution of 1200, but im led to believe that the 2001 is slightly taller due to the larger .pitch

Actually the 2407 is half an inch or so higher. I thought the same as you. I went from a 2001 to 2407 (as I said earlier) and had them side by side for a short while.

1. omigod! ... the 24" widescreen dwarfs the 20" widescreen!

2. 24" widescreen makes the 22" widescreen a stop-gap!

3. The progression must be from 20" WS to 24" WS

4. who can lend me 600 notes!

5. who can lend me 300 notes for a card for this beast!
