Anyone run the performance bench on this yet that comes with the game.
I set my resolution to 1680x1050, and left it auto detect my settings which was a mixture of high and ultra, and 1 medium, with model detail set to the min. position. Only change I made was to turn on AA.

The blasted thing reported a min. framerate of 16, max of 48 and average in the high 20's. Pretty rubbish I though.

Havn't played the game yet of course so don't know how that translates into gameplay. Maybe I should be playing at 1280.

Yeah it has issues with SLi, and I think your GX2 uses an SLi of sorts. Hopefully they will get it fixed soon.

FYI: i get ~61 fps average in the performance test, with 7900GTO and X24600+, @GB of RAM. Thats with the maximum in game settings at 1280x1024.

Heheh...I just installed the 1.2 patch which sorts sli.
At 1680, with AA turned on and everything maxed (high or ultra if it goes that far) except for model detail which I left at halfway which was the default, I get an average of over 90fps. If I turn off post processing which some people have said you should do, my average framerate doubles !!! And my max goes to something crazy like 240 fps !!

I just bought mine the other day and it plays quite well for me. Mixture of HIGH and MEDIUM settings @1280x1024 with AA ENABLED (POST PROCESSING off).

But there must be a bug because as soon as I pan the camera down horizontal it's "hello jerks-ville!" If I stayed zoomed out, very smooth and seamless... bit odd that is. Anyway, I'm loving the game at the moment so all I do is just NOT to zoom horizontal. :D

One thing I've noticed is that this does stutter badly n a couple of places which obviously makes the min fps drop right down to sub-20 for me. I think this is due to it paging, as I only have 1gig RAM and my peak commit charge hit 1.3gig.

So this may be worth bearing in mind for anyone experiencing poor performance results. Would be interested to hear what kind of MIN fps ratings people with 1.5gig or more of RAM are getting.

I just read this thread and turned off post processing and you were right it increases fps a lot. Now i can run everything max except textures which are high with aa on and get 34fps average 130ish max and 11 min. When i had few options a bit lower and on medium i had 44fps average and 160 or was it 180 fps max and 14 min.

Cheers. :)

Everything on highest ingame, with driver quality set to high texture levels, AA and AF are application controlled.
Running in 1920x1200 on the rig in my sig I get:

Average - 27.8
Max - 98.6
Min - 12.7

Definitely still playable for the type of game it is :)

Here's mine @1680x1050. All set to max

The game does run pretty badly. I have to have a mix of medium and high for playable speed at 1280x :|

sometimes even then its jerky once the game loads up , but i find simply flipping to desktop and back gets it smooth again.

maybe i should try the dual core optimiser like the game recommends when its first run .
