HELP!!!...

I duno how but I came home tonte booted up my PC and it started going haywire!...

1) Trying to Dial every 5 mins (I'm on Broadband but there is still a 56K modem in there) I get a 'Click' and the 'Traffic Light' thing appears in the taskbar.

2) There appears to be a new Dialup-Networking connection called "Coolweb" (I think this is causing No1), I've run CWS but it found nothing!.

3) There is a Program in 'Add and Remove Programs' called OIN which won't go (I've googled and its not a nice Trojan!).

Ad-Aware and Spybot don't seem to be able to solve these problems!... I've got AVG running a scan (as I type).. I'm at my whits end!... How do I stop/Remove these DAMN TROJANS/SPYS/DIALERS.

Help Please!.. :(

having a similar problem ,got this bitchy backdoor bifrose, found lots of ways to manually delete it, but, it isn't showing in any of the system registry places that they specify, i assume its being well blocked by my aol spyware as every 4 hours or so it brings up the messege saying its been blocked, but it isn't being picked up by my AVG, spybot S&D or Ad-Aware, i wouldn't have had the problem if i hadn't clicked 'allow' on my zone alarm pro accidentaly :( :/ don't suppose if anyone can help either of us?

Run this. http://www.hitmanpro.nl/hitmanpro

It runs all the following programs & updates them,CWShredder, Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D, Spy Sweeper, Ewido Micro, Spyware Doctor, Spyware Blaster.

It will run each program one after the other so if Ad-Aware misses something then one of the other programs should remove it.

hitman is still worth running, its really thorough!

disable system restore first

then post a hijackthis log on this website..

Haven't come across that hitman package before, I'll give it a try on the next spyware system I have to clean up :)

i only run it when i can't be bothered to clean up a pc myself, but it works really well

needs a net connection to work :)

I've now found 'Previx1' which has cleaned out 10 Malware programs and sits in the background and monitors any programs that fire up, if it doesn't recognise a program (or if it does and its a nasty one) it asks you if it should block/remove it or allow it to run (once to test, or always)...

I then ran CC-Cleaner, Hyjack-This, Ad-aware and Spybot again and they picked up the rest...

I then ran all three (SBSaD, Ad-A, P1) again and they all give me a 100% clean system!..

Previx1 is free for a month (32 days) as a full product (monitoring, sweeping and cleaning) then it becomes just a monitoring program!... or I pay £12 for a years subscription (which I might do in 31 days time if my system stays stable/working)...

might give that 'Hitman' thing a go too! (you can never have too many Spyware scanners)

zone alarm to max security nothing can run without it going through you first, get avast too, ad-aware-se, spyware doctor, and avg that's all i used to get my computer under control after i got a seriously set of spyware and virus and all
