Wii - Official Nintendo Mag - Play the Wii Dates/720p???
Might as well expand this thread, Nintendo are doing a roadshow where you can play the Wii (Similar to the Gears of War 360 tour). Get to try it a month before release and put those fears to bed. Dates below :-

My latest copy of the official Nintendo Mag is claiming in it's Wii Hardware roundup that the wii will be capable of running 720i and 720p through component. I thought 480p was the supposed supported progressive res?
For those who have it Page 58 (Wii Launch feature - Vital Statistics)
"At the time of going to print, Wii games will output in 720i and 720p - 720i is your standard TV picture, 720p is a higher quality signal that takes advantage of the improved picture possible on plasma, progressive scan or LCD displays."
