Thermaltake VA3000BWA Tsunami Dream SuperMidi Aluminium Tower

I give this case 3 Stars ( out of 5 )

Its a very nice looking case with a curvy front door which locks and has 2 blue LED's, Behind the door is the drives and the power / reset buttons,This panel also opens up like the front door so you can istall the drives and to reveal the fan filter. The air flow is good and my MB stays at 34C and the fans are not too noisy. Other features include rotating legs/ Screw less CD/dvd mounts, removable HD tray, Lockable side panel with entry sensor.

bad points>
To install the DVD drive into the top slot I had to remove the hinge as it was blocking removal of the facing plate.

The power supply was a tight fit as there is a supporting brace that runs from the front to back and also the top USB ports block access, I had to unscrew them to fit the PSU and put them back later, If the PSU fails you will have to remove the MB and everything else to replace it. My old case you could change the PSU without moving anything except the RAM.

I found the HD tray too close to the MB, Its set back due to the large front fan, With two X1900XTX I could only fit one HD, I tried to put a second one in but the rear of the HD touches the rear of the X1900XTX with no room for the cable. Second HD had to go in the floppy drive space.

I still think its a nice case but not for crossfire or SLI and just praying the PSU will last a long time. :)
