I have been waiting for a screen like this in the UK for ages, and its cheaper than i would have expected! Can be had for around £900.

Thread on AV Forums. It can do 1080p over all the connections from what i have read.

I was considering the 24" BenQ, but i might have to save up a bit more and get the Goodmans instead! Would be perfect for PC, Xbox 360 and eventually PS3.

What does everyone think of this TV?

I'm sure there's plenty of info in that enormous thread, but price/features look superb overall to me, although I've seen LCDTVs with better contrast ratios. Personally I would try to see one in the flesh before buying, goodmans aren't exactly a top brand, hence the price.

I have just purchased this set. Very happy with the price too!!!

This set can do 1080p via VGA HDMI..

There is a lot of information on the AVforums thread regarding this TV.

I was going to get the Toshiba Regza 42WLT66 or Sharp XD1E. This TV beats them on the spec sheet and is far cheaper. Apparently its a Samsung Panel.. which is probably the reason it has rave reviews from owners on the thread.

I was just thinking, how convenient is 1080p for Windows and PC games? Is it just as easy as setting it to 1920*1200?

Go to the AVforums there is a massive thread over 100 pages long which answers every question you could ask.
