Windows media player 11 cutting off the beginning of MP3s?

Has anyone else noticed this? Compared to playing MP3s in Winamp, WMP11 cuts off the first second or two.

used to get that problem yeah... i think its the soundcard drivers more than anything, I dont get it anymore though but I know what you mean.. annoying as hell

Try turning off crossfading

Crossfading is already off

It doesn't fade in, the music starts playing immediately, it just chops the beginning off :eek:

Anyone else got any ideas about this? Is nobody else experiencing the same problem? I'm using an Audigy 2 with the latest drivers, in Windows XP.
