Why do you need more practice at HDR? I think they are pretty perfect as they are. Saying that I have not as yet tried HDR so aside for looking to see if the shot is overdone or too 'plasticky' I don't know what else to look out for.

I particularly like No's 2 and 4. On No4 it feels like you are actually there, really nicely done ;)

Could I be really cheeky and ask for number 2 at 1280x1024, as I think it's a stunning shot that would go lovely on my desktop?! :)

I could email you the full 10mp file if you like (6mb) depends on the file size limit on your email?

Another one i quite like from today, though it is a bit soft (-2 deg and shivering faster than the IS could keep up :) )

******* hell, those are bloody amazing.

I'm a bit of a photography noob, but what lens did you use with that? And which camera do you have?

Looking for a digital SLR, but judging by the quality of your shots you're going have some top class gear.

In short, looking for some guidance here. :p And your shots look absolutely stunning. Nice one. :D

No DSLR here, just a compact (Canon G7). Decided a while ago that i just would not have the discipline to carry all the gear around for a DSLR so i went for a good quality compact.

For the money i dont think you can beat the G7 (Size and performance).

I honestly mean no offence here but bloody hell these people are easily pleased! It's like they've never seen a good quality photo before.

Shot number 2 is quite good, the HDR does add a little to the photo, the clouds set this off for me seen as the sky is a little dull. I'm not the greatest fan of #3 because I think HDR doesn't suit it and there is nothing too exciting about the image, but #4 is nice, holds good content. I'm not trying to put you down from the initial over excited comments but just pointers. :)

Non taken, its all part of the learning process (hence my comment about going reading the HDR guide)

lol, I don't think I'm quite that bad. :p

I've seen some good stuff, but I know what I like and I like these. Each to their own I suppose.

That's surprising. I know I don't really know my stuff (obviously) but I think those shots are really nice. With a compact camera that's quality. :D

Number 3 is a little boring for me but the others are really good! Good job! I especially like the airplane contrail in number 4.

It's nice to see some good quality shots from a non DSLR as well. Just goes to show that you don't need to be running around with 4 figures of equipment to produce some good photos.
