** Fall's off chair ***

In fact, I really don't feel like installing new drivers on Vista tonight. Nor do I feel like installing a game to see if it runs as good under XP. Has anyone already tried them - are they any good..

Well I have had a totally awful experience with vista and drivers so far so I saw this thread and thought excellent some non beta nvidia drivers. Oops spoke to soon!! :(

This is what has been happening prior to today.....

I am getting regular blue screens with errors about memory, things like the computer tried to write to memory that could not be found and similar.

Running DX diag shows my card up as a DX 10 card (its clear not) and has 500 and something mb of memory (obviously it doesnt) So Im guessing that it thinks there is more memory on the card than there is and this is the reason for the blue screens.

With regards to todays driver release.....

Installed and about half way through the screen went black (monitor reports no signal) and it never comes back. After resetting the pc is ****** and needs a role back. This also happened for me with the last two nvidia vista releases.

Am I doing something wrong???

Im on 32bit business edition and the card is an AGP 6800 Ultra.

If anybody has any suggestions for me I would love to hear them as Im just about done with this now.

"Im on 32bit business edition and the card is an AGP 6800 Ultra"

Which driver set are you installing and on what specific card? Only asking as something doesn't look right

Scrap my last comment - I can't believe the confusion Nvidia are in/causing with their driver releases. They don't seem sure whether GF6 & 7 cards should use 97.46 or the 100's which seem to have support added as an afterthought. My 8800 runs OK on 100.65 but the CP is nonsense and I still cant control my fan speed.
