Deathadder + bf2

Just brought a new deathadder mouse i'm very happy with it apart from when playing bf2, turning round and moving is fine but when i push my middle button
to aim it randomly aims somewhere else? i'm facing forward when i push it then
next second it's zooms in and i'm facing the other way or the floor?
Thats quite annoying as you can imagine and gets me killed a lot, i've looked in the razer and bf2 options and there's nothing there i thought it might be the mouse scroll but i've turned it off and it's still the same.
Anyone got any ideas?

You need to unbind it from the "Turn around and act in a drunken fashion" option.

no, he might be right

it sounds like its binded to another function as well (cant remember if BF2 even allows this, but its worth a shot)

check out the options and see

OK i fixed it now i just uninstalled all the razer software that came with it and i using the mouse on it's own...working lovely who needs all that on the fly stuff anyway was just confusing it.

you can disable the onthefly sensitivity in the software, don't you need the software to be able to use the extra buttons like on the diamondback :confused:

i have the same problem i just learnt to live with it.

theres no config you can use in the driver to not do it, only if you dont want the whole button to work lol

exactly the same thing is happening to me in quake 4, it's really bugging me now.... is the only way to fix this to uninstall the software??

EDIT: theres no way i can learn to live with this, im a strafe jumper, a speed freak if you like... it makes it completely impossible to make certain jumps as you end up about to make the jump facing in completely the wrong direction :\

new driver/prgram version release for the deathadder came out today... fixes the issue

im using 1.05b driver, fixes the issue as it does it in some other games to

update to newest driver 1.06 i think, and update the firmware for the mouse

worth updating the firmware too, in the top of the razer driver screen it tells you which firmware you're running

download drivers and firmware from razerzone.com

install drivers, reboot
update firmware
reboot

Flashed to the latest firmware with the latest drivers and it still hasnt fixed my problem.

Anyone elses side buttons not working in bf2142 if u have binded them to a key?
