i am about to order 8800 gts 320mb..... is a 450w psu enough power, or should i upgrade to 500w..... i really dont want to have to though if i dont really need to...

any suggetions..

the make and model of the PSU would help us help you, as a solid make PSU like Tagan and Antec should handle it if you arent OC'ing but a generic £20 one might not be up to the job

Antec Sonata II Piano Black Quiet Case - 450W Smart Power PSU

working fine here 430w seasonic :D
was worried if it was enough beforehand so i just used the suck it and see method plug it in if it goes bang u need a new one hehe :p

See above fred - edited my post. I just feel that getting something with a stronger 12V behind it and more watts would be adviseable. There's nothing worse than a system that suffers with powerdowns and struggles when its under load because of the demands its under.
