Any managers about?

Hi all,

Ive got an essay due in for Buisness & Management, and its to do with control in organisations, and whether it is a central issue in the success of organisations.

I need to interview a couple of managers, ask a few questions.

Anyone up for the challenge?

I only got 1 reply so far, so im still looking for managers if possible, would be helpful to get a couple more atleast, to fill in a short questionairre( should take only a few mins to fill).

Example of management.

Employee is great at his or her job and excels above all other.
Rather than give them a nice thank you in terms of a payrise, your made a manager and given a load of ***** people to manage.

Then you hate your job and want to die and leave, as your no longer doing what you want to do.

Been there done that got the t-shirt.

would like to know what kind of company that was for then!! my job is the complete opposite of that and i had the choice as to whether i wanted to become a manager or not
