EDIT-Ok Just tested them - 7600gt on XP and they seem to work just the same as the 101.02's and 158.16's in terms of fps in the games I currently have installed. FEAR - Oblivion - ArmA - FSX all deliver the same fps, though the FEAR bench ave is up from 82 to 89.

Yesterdays XP leak was good - would be very interested to know how the Vista64 version looks.

Been an interesting couple of days for Nvidia owners.
 
Im stuck at work, but I'm glad that finally we are seeing some releases from NVidia. (or leaks however you wish to class it!)

This has to be related to the imminent _threat_ from the R600. I think finally we are going to see some healthy competition, and resulting from that some better drivers coming from NVidia, it's all good whether you are in the ATI or NVidia camp.

It's well overdue that's for sure.

165.01 for XP? Lol only a day since the last drivers were released, anyone getting even higher 3DMark scores with these? :p

I'm stuck at work too, I'm really starting to hate work when I could be at home tinkering with my computer!! Hopeing official WHQL drivers are released later on - installed vista last night specifically cos of the rumors!

Whats with the G98? Does this indicate 9800?

I dunno about these now, seems its true that on every new driver that comes out, TDU plays worse :confused:


Also were do I get driver cleaner from, I can see some software called Driver Cleaner but its purchase only :confused:

The FREE version is discontinued, the latest version is only available to buy. You'll need to hunt down an older version (DC3.0?) somewhere.

yesterdays relese drivers made TDU even smoother for me.
 
I might give these a try if they're doing wonders for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

Need to get a reformat out of the way first though, partitions are a mess. :o
 
As per above I have lost 400 marks using 3dmMark06 but to be quite frank Im more bothered about what issues thr driver fixes rather than 400 points and or 3pfs !!

I suppose it did for me, but the fact I can use 16xS in NVTray with these drivers as my FPS goes down to 15fps same for 4XSS, and with the 97.95 the FPS were like 40-50 with 16xS.
