To run on a 'non-PCI-e' PSU?

Cheers

right will order it later on today or tomorrow, it's a shame, got a leadtek 7600gt agp from the clearance section for £58 and it didn't work :(

Sorry to hear that Chris, shame the didn't include it in the first place, seems odd to have a PCI-E power connector on an AGP card and not include a converter...?

The 6 pin connector uses 2x 12v rails, but a molex has only one 12v rail, so you need 2 molex connectors.

thanks mate, according to gainward's spec sheet on this card, the connector comes bundled anyway so not to worry. Thread can be closed/deleted or left on incase anyone else queries this or whatever

What you mean only one molex connected, very risky that if so.

the molex > PCI-E thing, both molex plugged into adaptor, i can't use the port on my PSU for the PCI-E slot cause the fan is in the way :(
