xbox 360 power light flashing green

i just bought my xbox 360 premium and noticed that the centre power light keeps flashing green especially when i plug in the play and charge kit, does anyone know if this is normal or not.

On the pad or the console?

Not sure I've seen the console flashing unless its during start up, or you are connecting/syncing another pad, and even then its only the 'ring'.

The actual power symbol never flashes for me.

sorted it out the power lead was not plugged in fully all fine now. Thanks for your help guys
