Hi
I've seen a good deal on a laptop, which I'll hopefully be buying soon. I want to get Vista Business OEM for it, but not sure whether to risk it not working with the 64-bit version.
These are the specs :
Screen : 15.4" X-Brite Widescreen
Processor : Intel Core Duo T7200 2.0GHz Processor
Memory : 2048MB DDR2 667MHz Memory
Hard Drive : 160GB Serial ATA Hard Drive
Graphics : nVidia 7600 Go 256MB PCI Express Graphics
Optical Drive : DVDR Multi Burner
Features :
3 x USB 2.0 Ports
54g Wireless Enabled & Gigabit LAN
56K Internal Modem
2 Button Touchpad with PageDown/Page Up
2048MB DDR2 667MHz Memory (Supports up to 4GB)
1 x PCI-E
1 x 1394 Firewire
1 x Mic-in,1 x H'phone/Speakers
DVDR Multi Burner
1 x S-Video Out Port
4 in 1 Card Reader
Weight - 3.1kg
Dimensions (mm) - 37.1 x 269 x 360
12 Mths RTB
Price : £639.00 ex vat.
The main thing that worries me is the 'nVidia 7600 Go' graphics card. I've been to the nVidia website, but can't even find this card listed in the downloads section.
Would you go 32-bit or risk 64-bit?
