Story starts when my G25s reverse stops working, a week ago, i finally decided to call logitech to get it repaired, after a couple of emails later, they sent me a new one free of charge. And apprently according to the other thread i don't have to send the old one back.
And funnily enough it arrived today, so i started to wonder what was wrong with my old shifter and took it apart, i knew it wont be too much of a problem to sort out knowing logitech..
And after a bit of tampering and unscrewing i found out the problem and sorted, 'Ray style'
The problem was down to the switch that senses the gearstick being pushed down. but that was sorted easily.
i know my soldering skills are bad
but im sure no one can do it right with my el cheapo one
So, now i have 2 G25s
im still using my old one. and well the new one.. its sitting in my room, ready to be lent to a friend.
FYI, i will not be selling it to anybody.
