ok guys bored stiff with toca 3 atm I loved the career mode that the first 2 toca's and would love something similar anyone got any thoughts?

What about one of the Need For Speed series. A bit different, for the norm. I would suggest NFS: Underground 2, or go for Most wanted

I don't think common sense counts as trolling on a forum? There have been a few threads on Racing game recommendations.

I think there should be a sticky for recommended games per genre in here.

He's hardly trolling, it's a valid point. Loads of topics about racing games are about. The thread I made contains recommendations from various users

I've been racing LFS since it's first demo in 2002. I've got massive respect for the devs of this sim - the sheer attention to the project is incredible. But the community lets it down a bit I feel. The forums are like being at school, it's like counterstrike kiddies but for racing.

I was in a league for a bit, but I don't want to race against 'IraceFastxxx_xxx' and 'noobkilla'. So I now race in a netkar league which insists on real names and is full of mature and gentleman racers.
