Right I thought it was time to get some good ole community comps going, hopefully this takes off well:

1)What is Rump3l's weekly twanger?

At the moment it is planned as a weekly time trial competition in a class and track of my choice. But if there is enough interest it may expand to be a TT qualification round followed by some nice 10 lap races.

2)But what do I win?

Well as im not a Cr millionaire yet I'm afraid I cant offer crazy prize funds but what I can give out is my twanger ;)

3)And just what the hell is that?
That is my finely tuned beast decorated in a lovely trophy style livery, available only to the winner with custom number plate included. Essentially it's for bragging rights, rub it in the faces of the rest of the forum, show them how many of my twangers you collected and revel in your own greatness. :)

4)General rules and regs
The TT will be open for one week from my initial posting of track/car details. You can post in this thread your lap time and Gamertag.

***To help me confirm the lap also post a picture of the scoreboard with your submitted time/car/PI rating clearly visible.***

5) WEEK 3 TRACK/CAR CLASS
In week three the car is 1992 Lancia Delta Intergrale EVO (pi 460) This car should be unlocked in the arcade mode (C class garage) from the start, this week there are no mods although tire pressure tweaks are allowed. And the track for this week is Tsukuba Circuit. The prize car will come from class C this week and will be based on something quick around this track.

If I have missed anything please ask about it and I will edit accordingly.

Can't you nail it down to one car, no upgrades but tuning allowed? Only way i can see it being a fair representation of speed?

Ignore if thats a dumb request.

When I check the scoreboards I will see the PI rating of the car , if anyone mods the ride then it should be reflected there. There can always be a marshalls inquiry into suspicious times lol.

I will update the original post to a Specific car at stock parts.

Ok I have updated this weeks car.
I think next week we will lock some parts to sports etc so that tuning can be done. There is afterall as much skill in tuning as racing. :)

GamerTag DreederOcUK

1:40.413

All assists off, Auto Gears, Joypad, stock car used, no tunes, tweaks or even custom paint... :P

sometimes clutch, flywheel and driveshaft/axle upgrades dont affect the cars P.I enough to raise its number, something to bear in mind...

Well we have to trust that people will stay honest im afraid. Short of me physically watching people complete laps or them filming videos of the tuning menus and then hot laps I cant 100% keep tabs on it, thats just the way it is.

As long as the Pi doesnt change I think its ok to have small tweaks and tunes. From now on if you can provide some screenies with your entry it may help avoid any future problems. Lets keep it fun still though hey. :)

Stock car from the arcade garage, no assists - 1:39.372

My time isn't on leaderboards as I have previously run a faster lap with a different B-Class car. A 1:38 is def possible.
