Beauty and the Beast

These are the first (showable) pictures taken with my new set of £10 extension tubes from the bay. They were shot in my back garden with my Canon 75-300mm lens.

So beauty...

The end of the World..

And the Beast!

Taken in a nature reserve on Dartmoor, just the 75-300 (without extension tubes).

There will probably be a few more macros in the next day or so as these were actually taken a few weeks ago, and I have a big backlog of shots to sort and PP (including a few more macros).

I likey, especially 1 & 2.

Is it me or does the focus point on number 3 appear to be just in front of the slug?

Looking at it again it very well may be.

Here are a couple more I just got round to sorting out.

I really like 1 and 2.

Does anyone know what would happen if you combined extension tubes with a 150mm macro lens? Would it be UBER magnification?
